Legends of oathbound champions single-handedly fending off hordes of Dragons stirred a fever beneath his ribs as a child. Even amongst minor houses House Valestyr was never grand. That is because Valestyr are arbiters; stewards of law &keepers of old writ and rightful claim.Tucked beneath the cliffs southeast of Saint Valeroyant’s, the family has long served as impartial witnesses to all manner of affairs; duels, land negotiations, bond-sworn fealty. They are austere & pious men draped in dark tabards, rarely thanked but never overlooked. Their pride lies in their cold consistency and their merchandise is ruthless precision.Though their knights may be few, they are disciplined & stalwart things. They do not glitter or gun for glory but rather they hold the lines & enforce terms.They never, ever forget.
